LANDMARK REALTY ADVISORS, INC.
LANDMARK REALTY ADVISORS, INC. (“LANDMARK”) was established in 1989. Landmark is owned and operated by its principals, Craig Black (Associate Broker) and Ryan Black (Realtor Associate). It is a member of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors (GRAR), the Commercial Association of Realtors (CAR) and participates in the Multiple Listing Service with all area Brokers.
Craig Black has been a licensed realtor for 28 years. Craig is a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and held the SRS (Specialist in Real Estate Securities) designation. He is past president of the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute (RESSI) for the State of Michigan and Past President of the Property Management Association of West Michigan (PMAWM). As General Partner, he has raised equity for and has developed apartments and office buildings in West Michigan, for which LANDMARK REALTY ADVISORS, INC. has acted as asset manager, property manager and real estate agent.
Ryan Black has been a licensed realtor for 7 years. Ryan has a general business major and handles the accounting, tax and property management matters related to LANDMARK REALTY ADVISORS, INC. He also is the principal agent, responsible for handling the listings and sales of residential properties for the company.
Landmark also works as a “fee” and “asset” manager for clients in the acquisition, operation and disposition of their real estate holdings. “LANDMARK” has been involved in the sale of residential and commercial real estate for over 19 years. Its primary focus is the listing and sale of properties of clients who are acquiring properties developed or owned by Landmark Development & Construction Management LLC or its affiliates. That allows LANDMARK REALTY ADVISORS, INC. to give strict attention to the task at hand; which is putting our clients best interest ahead of others. "LANDMARK" has acted as consultant to several clients in negotiating loan workouts, an especially valuable tool in today's real estate environment.
LANDMARK DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT LLC
LANDMARK DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT LLC ("LANDMARK") was established to accommodate the construction needs of its clients. It is a newly formed division of “LANDMARK”. It was established in 2006 to compliment the other services related to our company. The principals of the company are Craig Black, Construction Manager and Ryan Black, Finance Manager. Landmark is a member of the National Home Builders Association (NHBA) and the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids (HBAGGR).
Craig Black is a licensed builder in the state of Michigan. He works in conjunction with the Architects, Vendors and Subcontractors in facilitating all aspects of the construction project. His responsibilities are to maintain the integrity of the project and to coordinate the construction process from design, to permits, to completion.
Ryan Black is also a licensed builder and is responsible for working with home owners, lenders, title insurance companies and the subcontractors/vendors to make sure all of the contracts, sworn statements, draw requests and lien waivers are accurate and compliant during the construction process. Ryan handles the estimating of projects as well as the relationships between home owner and lender in the event any change orders are necessitated.
In the home construction business, Landmark is currently positioned to be a custom and not a volume builder. Our intent is to work with our customer to determine the style and the finish of their home within the financial parameters they define. Each home that Landmark builds will be built with both the purchaser and the purchaser’s needs in mind. Landmark clients may select a plan from one that already exists or they may start from scratch with their choice of architect in order to build their home to their own specifications and needs.
